Trainer Wendy Yew

Wendy is a multi-lingual trainer, speaker and coach. She is proficient in Chinese, English, Malay and Cantonese. That makes her one of the most versatile multilingual talent in Asia!

She holds a Bachelor of Economics in International Trade and Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (上海大学) – the top Economics school in China. Being an expat from who is based in China for 4 years and with her knowledge of the local market, she has been providing consultancy services for foreign companies that are keen to penetrate to Greater China. She was invited to be an interpreter in Trade Mission featuring Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak – Current Prime Minister of Malaysia and Minister of Trade-Y.B. Dato’ Seri Rafidah Aziz and many other international business personnel from Europe, America and South East Asia.

She relocated to Singapore in 2006 and during her career in the Media and Advertising industry with Singapore Press Holding (SPH), a main-board public listed publishng and media giant, she was tasked with competitive roles such as advertising sales and customer servicing. She successfully achieved the highest quarterly sales which had contributed significantly to the company revenue.

With a passion for performing, Wendy began her professional entertainment as dancer, singer,actress and show host. She was seen performing for millions of people on live stage, musical, radio,TV and events. It has always been Wendy’s passion to be a public speaker. She had opportunities to host numerous major and minor events. Wendy then developed skills and unique techniques to become an impactful presenter.

With more than 10 years of experience in performing arts, Wendy’s experience also includes being a journalist, copywriter, marketing and branding consultant. As a media practitioner,Wendy combines her background in business management. She brings about a powerful transformation of communication and presentation techniques for the corporate world.

She provides powerful and practical solutions to win people over. This is a much needed skill for success and fulfillment. Today, she has an influential voice, empowering organizations and individuals to discover their potentials and achieve their goals. Wendy designs and teaches systems for leaders to find their voices and communicate with confidence, charisma and impact. She also trains leaders the fine art of hosting a live event or presenting in a conference.

Wendy is ACTA Certified (Advance Certificate For Trainer and Assessor) by Workforce Development Agency and Certified Professional Trainer by International Professional Managers Association, IPMA (UK). She chairs “Train The Trainer”masterclass. She was Master Trainer of CITISPA ACADEMY and successfully setup as Approved Training Organization (ATO). She is awarded as AAE under AdultEducators’ Professionalisation (AEP), a national accreditation program for established practitioners in CET by SSG, Ministry of Education.She is appointed by Ministry of Manpower as Approved Work-Life Trainer (September 2016 – October 2018) and Spring Recognized Certified Management Consultant.
